Yup..........there isn't really much more we can do but steer her to help via welfare agencies.

We hope she won't die in her cold house due to no CPAP and breathing aid.

We have to keep thinking of our friends that are still doing OK or we will be surrounded by depression.

the foreclosures, layoffs and lack of thriving businesses has been a holiday downer...........I have to catch myself from feeling guilty over our good fortune to be still doing well.

Our son just got a student loan funded and with our help will be leaving for international business college in Switzerland. I have a great job and my husband's business is picking up lately ( God only knows how that happened ).

I do have much to be thankful for but should say that too loudly or the line outside my front door will lengthen! My business-oriented sons told me not to say much to anyone so keep all this a secret!
