Salmon? BS they can live and spawn in brackish water, besides the amount of salt used for roads are not a problem. Most of it doesn't even reach the fresh water. It will get asorbed into the ground and becomes a problem with ground water wells. That very very slowly gets leached into fresh water streams and is not even close to making the water brackish.
