If you have some debts like a mortgage and/or loans, I think is very kool to have them in British pounds though -g-

Seriously, I think all currencies will be micro managed by the CB's. This will be done in the name of "economic stability" but in reality it means they just don't want to lose control of the world commercial traffic and for a natural currency to evolve take hold. They will probably lose that battle in a number of years of ineffectual governance. I give um about 10 years max.
