Yesterday, one of my neighbors brought over some XMAS cookies....he looked terrible. I asked him what was wrong. He said one more day locked in with the kids and he may kill them. I guess that gives you the general mood of the populace. Many years ago I got snowed in with my wife (who was studying for the bar exam and thus boring as hell) for a full week. Finally got so stir crazy I took off on my cross country skis to the nearest bar (1 mike away) in -10 degree weather. All was good until many hours and drinks later on the way back I broke a ski and had to tramp back through frozen waist high snow in the crappy CC ski boots. I still get irritated when I think about it... Got over any love for snow in the CO mts. Some friends and I did some downhill skiing....on the way back, there was a blizzard and my friend's pickup got blown off the road into a ditch. Had to get a tow truck. When we got back to Denver, all three of us had hypothermia.......it took forever to get warm. Last time I ever went skiing......
