No, not the point I was making. Just as --- TODAY --- nobody cares anymore about all the crapola speculation that washed over Washington and the nation eight years ago as the Bush administration was planning it's succession to office... (all that stuff about 'reaching across the asiles' and 'balancing budgets' and 'tax reform' and 'compassionate conservatism' and 'no more foreign adventurism'.... :-) In a very short while, too... absolutely NOBODY will give a crap anymore about the tidal wave of speculative stuff (most well off-base, I'll wager) that is CURRENTLY occupying Washington and the national media. Just as nobody (except perhaps some Texans) gives a crap any longer about whatever it was that Bush did when he was in government in Texas, so too no one will give a crap whatever Obama did when he was in the Illinois legislature. REALITY and ACTUAL ACTIONS taken while President will push all that thin speculative crap into the dustbins.
