Please provide the evidence that salting the roads in Seattle in the past has, in any way, adversely affected the Sound. That should be simple enough. These idiots in Seattle are risking the property and lives of their residents to protect the Sound from a spec of salt.

I really like the part where my life is 'threatened'. I guess he glossed over the part where they are plowing the roads, adding sand and a non toxic de-icing compound in lieu of salt.

I wonder why they hate that people care about the environment? You would think it was some sort of sexual deviance.

There are no old wives tales involved. We're just talking about common sense here.

I repeat: If you know of some evidence that the Sound has been damaged in any way by the salting of Seattle streets that has been carried out for years, where is it?

If you don't have any such evidence, at least SUGGESTING causation, then the argument that Seattle residents lives and property should have been risked for this liberal bullshit is hollow and without the slightest foundation.

You are the guy who is defending it. So defend it.
