This was an interesting Christmas. I think I got more gifts- but many of them were hand made. I have NEVER received as much home made jam as I got this year. And we got a lot of home baked gifts as well. I like the home made gifts. I hope people keep that up. People with the time to do it...

What great gifts from your sons. You can really reap the benefits of teaching them well. We have opened a couple of Hanukkah gifts so far but tonight, waiting for my wife's sister to arrive this afternoon from the Bay area, we will open the Xmas presents. My niece and I will be serenading them with Xmas carols. She on the piano and me on the squeeze. They are always surprised how this Jewish guy learned so many Xmas carols. It was one of the benefits of growing up in a 'rainbow' community.
