I won't say "he's not our president". I disagreed with the practice when those on the other side politically said the same thing about Bush.

OTOH "he is our president", doesn't imply a lot. It doesn't require that we agree with him, or support his initiatives, or refrain from talking about our disagreements. "Our president", just means he's the leader the people voted for, not someone we agree with, not necessarily even someone we respect.
