I agree, Rock. I still find it astounding that someone of that nature gets to the top of the RNC ladder. What a hateful bunch.

I keep wondering how the Republican party will resurrect itself as the world has seen how bankrupt their ideas are and their base is now confined to Appalachia. My guess has been that somehow they will try to draw the Libertarians into their tent; and sure enough, that is what I am starting to see. Libertarians have always leaned to the right, but have been in a minority because their politcs are outside the cultural generality and so are sort of weird, like being conservative, but for legalizing prostitution and drugs.
