Had AMD executed as poorly as Intel did in the early years of this decade, AMD would be a bankrupt memory.

Curiously, I think Intel experiences better long term health if it's facing a moderately healthy AMD. Otherwise, it will end up like the UAW - it'll have 2 decades of easy money and then get eaten alive by asian competition.
