I often think I could solve it with about 100 influential folks on each side and a bunch of acid; mind meld.

Both Carter and Clinton may be able to work some magic over there. Hope Obama uses them.

I just got Carter's book "Peace, not apertheid" the other day.

I hope obama brings more nuance to this situation, and an understanding of a people living inside a fence, cut off by israel to proper food, medical, etc. so far he has opted for the non-nuanced tone we've heard for years.

and if he can "understand" Israel's desire to strike back, why should India hold back?
