Somewhat OT: Vertex probably got this stuff from the munch of Aurora, which had an ion channel program. As you know, just because it gets published doesn't mean there is actual development taking place. Though I suppose they could resuscitate the program (assuming they got the rights back) if further research suggested promise. My guess is CVTX could build a lead here before Vertex noticed.
