Unfortunately when there are terrorists who live amongst the local population who harbors them this is what is likely to happen. are such people innocent? Most Israelis would agree that the war in lebanon was poorly thought out and not a good thing. But no country can allow their soldiers or citizens to be kidnapped by terrorists without taking some punitive action. Do you really think that the behavior of US troops in Iraq, or the designated subcontractors paid by the US government is much different from that of the Israelis in the west bank? Probably not.....and that's why I was against the war in Iraq from the get go. I think these blood feuds that go on around the world....the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka, the Christians and Muslims in Nigeria, the Irish in Northern Ireland......are beyond insane. Unfortunately they have a life of their own and they are virtually impossible to stop. Let Israel and Hamas duke it out but keep us and our money out of it. BTW this is not a political thread.
