A lesson learned well.My traders I did well on because I had a short term plan and would not let them get into losing positions.....but the stuff i thought of as long term and just let ride.I got killed on.Granted this did not help...

CL, Yes leverage does that all right. Made good money on wts and lost good money. Looking at the different areas of my portfolio, the small amount of physical gold owned has been the simple and effective instrument for the last few years for me. R.
