Hi KT
How would you expect log bond to behave with rates near 0% and if Fed starts monetizing by buying long bond to support housing/commercial RE? what would you expect TBT to show? are there unobvious issues to consider here? Thanks

The bowl games continue to be great. West Virginia/North Carolina was a dandy. Cal/Miami was a nailbiter, though I expected Cal to blow them out of the water. Rutgers squeezed it out against North Carolina State. I rooted for both teams in that one. Missouri beat Northwestern. I've lived in both states, so no big favorite in that one, either.

One problem I have is naming The Player of the Game before the game is over and the issue is still in doubt. The Rutgers/NCar St. game was the worse, in this regard. If NC State had pulled it out, somebody on their team should have won individual honors, but the Rutgers quarterback had it before the Wolfpack's last drive.

Nevada/Maryland should be interesting today. Maryland has the best players, but they only show up now and then.

Oregon/Oklahoma State could be a wild one. Both teams think defense is a picket thing around their front yards.

There have been a few blowouts, but, all in all, some great matchups.
