I believe that the largest corporate interests are never very far from any available trough anyway. <GGG>

(After all... their interest is *not* in 'maximizing free markets' or any such stuff... it's in maximizing their PROFITS. and, generally with an interest on mostly the short-run, most immediate, of profits. A subsidy, or a monopoly-guaranteed profit is a sure thing after all....)

But... the public policy disaster that Ethanol subsidies are represent some of the vary worst of bad policies and misallocation of capital.
