Ted, I'm just alarmed at how Jews are once again being cast as the scapegoats, this time by a huge population of Muslims who can't otherwise solve their problems despite swimming in a sea of oil wealth.

Once again, I am not putting the blame solely on the Israelis. The Arabs behave no better. What I am trying to point out is that you can't ignore the history. Certainly, the Arabs aren't. However, the Israelis and her supporters do. And from the beginning, putting Israel in Palestine was a mistake. The Zionists took over another people's land. And that's never going to change and the Arabs are never going to forget it.

Just because Westerners drew the borders in the Middle East doesn't give them any excuse.

It gives them all the excuse in world. Fukking over people never leads to a good ending. History has shown that over and over again.

Moreover, I'm not sure we in America can get ourselves out of this mess, even if we tried. Israel will still be using American-made weapons and will rely on the financial and cultural support of many Jewish-Americans. The economy of Israel is also largely based on business with the West.

We can step back and demand that both sides act like adults before we get involved again.
