The point you continually choose to miss is that our government subsidizes the cost of gas and oil, so that it seems cheap to you and I, but its cost to the overall economy is prohibitive. If all the externalities were priced in, then gas would cost twice or three times as much as we pay today. As far as the Honda GX, I agree. It's an excellent short term solution. I actually tried to buy one where I live and they told me that it was not available in my area. What a joke. I love the fact that you can install an NG refiller that hooks directly into your home's NG line. That is a ready made solution if every there was one. Too bad that they haven't really pushed that in the US. Pickens is on to something.
