That's about exactly the P/E and yield that Royal Dutch was selling for at the height of the oil crisis of the early 1970s. The stock and its dividend went straight up for the next fifteen years or so. Whoever bought and held through that period more than quadrupled his capital and enjoyed a huge increase in income at the same time.
