Sometimes the sceptics never believe. e.g.The Timmins West property has had a total of 388 holes with total drilled length of 161,624 metres since 1984. They are currently building a ramp and shaft to allow an underground AEP partly to be financed by its expected revenue. ( Perhaps it's not inappropriate to share due-diligence notes copied mostly from from the prefeasibility study): 7.1 Deposit Type; Gold mineralization on the Property is typical of Archean mesothermal gold deposits....... On a deposit scale, gold mineralization, alteration, and veining are better developed in areas that are sheared and/or occur in areas of structural heterogeneity such as near major lithological contacts and near intrusions. Examples in the Timmins are of these types of deposits include Dome and Pamour mines at unconformable mafic-sedimentary contacts, the Dome and Hoyle Pond mines at mafic, ultra-mafuc and sedijmentary contacts, and the Hollinger an McIntyre mines that were mafic volcanic flow hosted but were proximal to felsic intrusions. The style of veining at the Tommins West property is somewhat similar to that of Delnite, Aunor and Buffalo-Ankerite mines in deloro Twp. These mines had ore principally hosted by pillowed and massive mafic volcanics that were associated with ultranafic rocks (historically described as serpentinite) and also in association with perphyry bodies. Veines in these deposits were composed of 50% or more tourmaline in association with quartz and carbonate. 14 Adjacent Properties (Item 17) 14.1 Statement (on the WTM Thudercreek property that LSG has optioned and now has a 60% JV interest:) The style of mineralisation, type of host rocks, proximity to major lithological contacts, and proximity to major through-going structures found on the property are features that are similar to those found in association with many gold mines in the Porcupine Camp. Some of these have been world class in size (e.g. Hollinger_mcIntyre Mines with about 30 million ounces of combined production and Dome Mine with approximately 15 million ounces of production). And from a recent NR: The gold mineralized zone in hole TC08-54 displays a new and distinct style of gold mineralization for the West Timmins area. The new sub-zone shares strong similarities with the classic “Timmins” style of gold mineralization associated with the multi-million ounce McIntyre and Dome mines, both of which have been mined to vertical depths of over 1,500 metres in the heart of the Timmins gold camp. Timmins is one of the world’s great gold camps – preparing to mark its 100th anniversary of continuous high-grade gold production. Geological Details The high-grade intercept in hole TC08-54 displays a distinct style of gold mineralization, being hosted within a feldspar porphyritic syenite intrusion, which indicates that it could represent the upper portion of a new gold trend sub-parallel to the Rusk Zone. This new sub-zone is associated with anomalous molybdenum and tungsten mineralization, a characteristic shared by several of the larger gold deposits in the Timmins gold camp.
