Hi Vet -

I also use Datek and was waiting for the bid to go above 5 and free up margin -- and it did about ten minutes ago. I quickly used the freed-up money to double my position, it went through at 5, and then the bid dropped 1/32. I haven't had to contact Datek for them to free up the margin at 5, and I'm really surprised you're not seeing it.

There's some pretty heavy trading by BROC standards--which aren't very high, of course!

Vet, BROC is marginable on datek whenever the bid is $5 or more.
