In fact there has been no sell-off. The specialists opened stuff 2% down, and that about is where it has stayed. I am amused by the way that people still look at the actual numbers and not the percentage ones. Even the more conservaive commentators like Paul Kangas seem to get caught up in the hype. If the DOW dropped 2000 -- as it might -- that would be a major correction. 160 is a flea-bite.
