They should go in ON THE GROUND with small units and surgically take out the Hamas units shooting the rockets. Right, idiot. Expose Israeli soldiers to more risk to accommodate the enemy. Thank god you're not a military man.

Those small units are hidden in civilian areas as i understand it so your idea probably not prudent. Do you think the israelis were shooting rockets at their own towns to provoke this attack? Who was shooting at who? Who cancelled the truce last week? I am sure you would like it if the US telegraphed its punches in afganistan so we would sustain greater casualties to keep it fair. Thats not how war works. You seek to crush the enemy. Its not marquis of queensbury at all.
