Al, There are no settlements in Gaza. There are in the West Bank and for the most part should be removed. But the animosity goes far beyond settlements. Many if not most pals view all of israel as occupied territory as do parsons and bayer. How can you get to peace with such a state of mind? Solution is really simple. End of settlements. Compensations in lieu of return. Jerusalem as dual capital. Reasonable people could settle this in a NY minute but the prereq is mutual recognition and mutual respect. Mike
