the ramming of the medical supply boat, not a smart move on the part of the Israelis.

As the story was told by one side - without video, even though reporters were on board (suspicious) - no not a good PR move.

I suspect there is quite a bit more to the story. Obviously, if Israel is going to be engaged in a war, they would want to have some kind of control over shipping into the region. I would think they would be inspecting every vessel entering the area and given the biased nature of media, I suspect a simple "boarding" became "ramming" by virtue of media translation.

Of course, if you have to ram the boat to keep Cynthia McKinney from getting anywhere near you, it is probably the right thing to do.

Hamas ain't going anywhere nor is Hezbollah, and in their heart of hearts the Israelis know that.

For that reason Israel should not accept a cease fire - until such time as Hamas changes its tune or is removed.

How about Israel changing its tune? Like I said to Michael, until Americans like you and he see the Israelis for what they are, there is nothing we can do to help that situation. Better for us to back out and let them duke it out.

this senseless bombing of Gaza finally ended the conflict but it won't. Instead, its only making things worse if that's possible at this late date.

The Hamas side has one direction and purpose - it can't get any worse - the best Israel can hope for is a reduction in capability and leadership. It will take them some time to rebuild if Israel cleans house via a ground invasion. Iran will soon have a nuke and they'll use it or give it to Hamas as soon as they can - no matter what Israel does in this conflict.

Trust me, if Israel keeps up on this path, it will be its ruin. It will not survive as an independent state. It may take another 100 years but Israel will go down.

There you go again......everybody is wrong but the Israelis.
