He also had a bright future going forward in the Republican Party, despite many red flags being raised by OC muckrakers like Steven Greenhut of the libertarian OC Register. (Same with liberal publications whose editors my wife got to know personally.) The indictment of the sheriff was rightly hailed as a victory for OC journalists everywhere. Tenchusatsu
