Hamas still wants to kill the Jews. I think thats the problem. The most backwards argument is the claim the rockets only kill a few people and how they're ineffective, proportional response, blah blah blah - yet all the Israelis are asking is for Hamas to stop firing them. Seems like a no-brainer to stop firing inaccurate rockets to save your people - unless of course that's not really your goal.
