It's very different. This is typical quid-pro-quo, one guy in power looking to get something for himself. It's bad. But the Republicans have taken political corruption to the next level, and really systematized it, turning government into nothing more than a kleptocracy.

When was the last time a Republican called for the indictment or impeachment of Bush? I certainly think that Blago should be impeached and indicted, and I'm pretty sure everybody here agrees.
