They could rebuild if they stopped lobbing rockets and sending suicide bombers into Israel - trade would flourish, Egypt would open it's borders and they could begin rebuilding in earnest - yet they keep attacking Israel and Israel responds by choking off supplies. The pressure from both the USA and Europe would force them to open the border if Hamas lived in peace - at least long enough to rebuild.


You would think so but it doesn't happen.....at least not on a large scale........even during the 1990s when there were peace talks underway. BTW Gaza doesn't have much to trade......in the northern part, there is some land for farming but most of it is one big slum.
