Hamas is Suni and Hezballah is Shi'ite. Radical Shi'ites and radical Sunnis hate each other more than they hate the West. Although they aren't going to fight together against us, one might throw the other a weapon to use against us. Moktada and Osama never joined forces in Iraq, they swore to annihilate each other...but they have both encouraged the other to fight us.

Hamas also has US weapons. The last I heard they don't make their own. They purchase, seize, steal, wheel and deal for weapons.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that Iran has donated weapons but it is more likely that Sunni supporters of Hamas purchased them from Iranian dealers.
