I think the israelis are waiting for egypt and abbas to step up. Israel has softened up hamas and has them focused on an invastion that i think is a head fake. The invasion should come from egypt ostensibly for humanitarian reasons to retake gaza and install Abbas govt. With egypt coming from one side, and hamas in place to fight israel on the other should lead to an internal collapse of hamas. Will pals fight egyptian peacekeepers? If there is some of that then the israelis can help clean up those hamas forces mostly from the air.

Not true. As of today the UN official civilian death toll stands at 63. That is out of 400+ killed.

How does the UN know? Israel doesn't let anyone into Gaza?

Bad enough but certainly not a quarter, not even close to that.
Wash your mouth, Ted.
And promise yourself 'This year I'll stop lying!'

As soon as you promise to be real when you post on this thread.

The UN wouldn't consider this guy a civilian because he's under 40 and male. So what do you think, o wise one? Is a doctor a terrorist?

And why do you defend the atrocities that are happening in Gaza? Why, for once, can't you decide on the side of humanity instead of ideology? Try, Taro, you have the character deep in you to make it happen.

In Dense Gaza, Civilians Suffer

GAZA — A dentist stood at the bed of a doctor, his good friend Ehab Madhoun, 32, who had just died, his shrapnel-pitted body wrapped in a white shroud.

The day before, Dr. Madhoun, a general practitioner, was in an ambulance responding to an Israeli strike at the Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza. Another missile hit the ambulance. The driver, Muhammad Abu Hasira, died instantly. Dr. Madhoun lingered for a day, dying of his wounds on Wednesday in the intensive care unit of Shifa Hospital, where hundreds of people have been brought since Israel began its heaviest assault on Gaza in three decades.

The dentist cried.

“He was just doing his work,” said the dentist, who would not give his name. “He’s a doctor, and I can’t understand why Israel would hit an ambulance. They can tell from the cameras it’s an ambulance.”
