What are you doing to prepare for it? I wish I knew which way this is headed. I can guess that we will enter a very bad era where the dollar is worth nothing after the trillions that are printed get into circulation.

I am trying to get a plan together.

How about under 50? Or at least under 40? Though I guess anyone who was at least six in 1974 and 14 in 1982 might have had some sense that a lot was wrong.

There was a time when a recession every 4-8 years seemed the normal rhythm. Then came 20 years of increasing euphoria following 1982.

Don't you think your outlook is colored in part where you live? Michigan is ground zero for this economic crisis. There are many places in this country where things are not nearly as bad.
