Global warming....patooie!

Did you see the article on Lindy's thread about the polar ice caps? The ice caps, which some alarmists said would melt within a few years are now back to 1974 thickness.

Global Warming = a whole bunch of hooey.

Sounds like you had lots of fun with your friends....glad to hear they are back from Israel... That whole situation sounds like a powder keg to me.

Places I would not care to be at the moment:

1) Gaza;

2) Israel;

2) Yellowstone.

Global warming is happening in Denver ONLY! It's now 4:30 and the temp on my deck is 60 degrees. All this will end over the weekend, though. Highs in the 30's for the next few days.

We still have lots of snow in our yard and on the deck. Driveway is clear only because we got out there and shoveled most of the snow off.

We managed to go skiing yesterday.........man was it ever crowded. We always manage to go where most of the people aren't, so we didn't have to wait in lift lines for long. We are so darned out of shape we were only good for 3 hrs. Our legs were screaming pretty good by then, so we came home.

Neither one of us can wait to go back up again............probably Thursday and Friday. By then the crowds will be gone, and we'll have most of the mt to ourselves.
