Did the history of Gaza start in 2005? Of course not.

Of course not - but before they can sit down to talk they need a cease fire that is respected by both sides - Israel did in fact make progress by giving land back in 2005 and Hamas never respected that and that's why they are in a shooting war today. The part about the bazillion wrongs on both sides can never be repaired, they can only start working towards the future - or continue with the death cult.
