The ignore-regulation regulators were right wingers. Democrats can be right wingers when they are idiot blue dog types but most right wingers are Republikan Socialists. Madoff gave money to those IN POWER which often means Democrats in his neck of the woods. That is what lobbying money goes to which is why it doesn't go to people NOT IN POWER. Lobbying money isn't handed out to the guy sleeping on the street. Do you understand that? I didn't think so. Sigh.
