History Channel is doing a compare and contrast between the Great Depression and 2008. Not bad. Jerry Stiller is a bit too impressed with FDR for my taste but overall pretty balanced. "Crash: The next great depression." As they say, the history channel is wandering away from the mandate of their name and talking about the present and now the future. Enjoy?

If you want to get some real crackpot conspiracy stuff, visit this thread Subject 55751 The moderator, though quite a decent trader by his own report, goes on frequent delusionary rants that appear to come from the twilight zone and appear psychotic. Naturally, these type of posts attract like-minded paranoid types who could really benefit from antipsychotic medication. It's a pity because the real world isn't so bad that I would prefer to retreat into a paranoid psychotic world where everyone is out to get me. It's also a pity that we can't force these people to be on medications and they frequently disintegrate into paranoid psychosis and become a danger to others. best... LIG
