Interesting Sarman. You are right about part of it. I dont hate arabs. Sure i have an ethnic bond with israeli jews. We have the same lineage most of that lineage lying in unmarked graves in europe. I dont feel any guilt. I have critisised Likud for a long time, particularly the greater Israel crap. I want the 67 borders with some adjustments, reperations and balancing land transfers. I want Jerusalem as dual capital. I want both parliaments in one building with a large adjoining room where representatives of the two bodies can meet about regional issues. But none of this can happen when hamas spends the last year launching thousands of rockets against israel who is no longer in gaza. Come on Sarman, join that arab american on CNN and many other arab leaders and call a spade a spade---Hamas started this for propaganda reasons and at the behest of iran to weaken sunni arab states. I agree with you---sunni arab states are not very good but the alternative of hizbo/hamas/rev guard control of large swaths of the middle east is far worse. I decry extreme Likud, greater israel nonsense. Cant you do the same for Hamas? Hamas has done exactly what you said they would not do. Have some compassion for the pal people who suffer thru all of this as tools of the hamas terrorists....

I pose those questions to Michael only because his accusations of me are equally as nonsensical. I don't hate Jews nor Israelis as Michael accuses nor am I afraid to tell an Israeli what I think. My reaction to Gaza and to Lebanon two years ago comes from an humanistic POV. This wholesale degradation of Gaza is extreme and uncalled for. I believe the Israelis have lost their soul and are becoming desperate. Consequently, they will lose much by their current actions.
