American Arab leader blames Hamas for this round of violence. Says israel overreacts and civilian misery horrible but clearly went on to say that Hamas has gotten what it wants--civilian deaths to blacken israels eyes internationally. Also claimed hamas uses civilians as shields and deliberatley puts them in harms way. Can't say I agree that Israel overreacted, but other than that, this "Arab American Leader" obviously is thinking more clearly than many of those posting on this board.

Is that what you want? Well dude there are no suburbs....Gaza is one big urban village. And all this talk of Hamas hiding behind civilians....the damned Israelis manage to pinpoint and take out Hamas leaders with surprising accuracy. How come, michael? He called on unilateral hamas suspension of rockets attacks on israel, PA controlling Gaza border with egypt and arab states dealing with who will REPLACE hamas and run gaza. I have never heard an arab leader go so far in stating the essential truth and not pander to the weak minded like ted. I thought Arab leaders were not siding with Hamas this time. Which is it? Are you trying have it both ways?
