Sure. They are getting the response they want. Now part of the reason why they want that response has a lot of history behind it. None of it good for either the Israelis or the Palestinians.

The issues aren't black and white, but a murky gray. There has been so much tit for tat going on there that something radically different needs to be done instead of the SOS that both sides engage in.

Which is why I keep bringing up the reasons for the Diaspora that left the Jews without a homeland. Rightly or wrongly the Romans had conquered them. They refused to accept it and engaged in uprisings and terrorism. Reprisals against them didn't do any good, look up the original meaning of "decimate" to see what I am talking about. So the Romans decided to pack up every Jew they could and dispersed them throughout the Empire. Where the Jews spent a couple of millennia not being particularly well liked.

The characters have changed, but the game is the same. The irony seems to escape most people, though.
