People who are weary of war will always be tempted to appease dictators, oppressors, and terrorists.

Pathetic, but true. I just heard a Palestinian MP on CNN talking about how Israel should cease and desist at once. It seems they can dish it out but they can't take it.

It looks like Israel is getting ready to clean house before Obama gets in office, which makes total sense. They don't know how much support they'll have from Obama, so they're not willing to just beat back the attacks, they want to eliminate the threat.

I believe they intend to cut Hamas off at the knees before they leave.

Israel sure as hell knows not to pursue appeasement. I just wish more Americans had the good sense.
