I have to eat my words about Wagoner......I've done some reading and the guy is not as bad as I have said. However, I still think GM has a ways to go with its designs. They still look to me to very GM. Some of his quotes make him sound like an asshole. Hell, they have too many nameplates, too many models in each nameplate. How do you market to that with focus? It doesn't make any sense, but I can understand some guy in the penthouse office going "how do I cut the brand that gives me $xxxxxxxxx in sales?". Tough.
