The point I am trying to make is that I haven't a clue about future metal prices. I don't even try to predict them nor do I give credence to the predictions of others. My sale of NGX had other reasons than the future price of copper.

I haven't noticed that my acknowledgment of ignorance has been a handicap in mining speculation. Perhaps it's even an advantage to recognise that all things are possible. ("We just mine the stuff").

TOM..In further explanation of my point of view, if I wanted to speculate on the future price of metals I would do so in the futures market. I, and I believe this thread, is more about "gold and silver juniors, Mid-tiers and producers; in other words MINING.

One difference between mining and metals is that MINING has an IRR, metals don't. Profitable producers of metals (MINES), now or future, do not speculate on the future price of their products(IMHO).
