We've really had a mild fall and early winter, but we did get a skiff of snow here in town last night. It's about freezing for a high today, then a little warmer as the week develops. Much show in the mountains, though. The first snow depth measurement of the winter showed the state, on average, some 130% of "normal" for this time of year. We'll have filled lakes and reservoirs again next spring. Thankfully!
