Treasuries = a giant bubble founded on nothing but an electorate's promise to vote for politicians who really know what why are doing and won't fritter away another $trillion in "rescue" spending. seekingalpha.com

How politicians spending even more money than usual will save the world beats me given their record of spending so far [over hundreds of years].

I am holding a pile of US$cash, which breaks my rules and I must do something about it soon, though it's a relatively small part of total assets so if it disappeared it wouldn't be a big deal. It does give an opportunity to go shopping if the big rally turns into a fizzer or collapse which I half expect.
