I experienced something like that when rebuilding my fence after Hurricane Ike. I had twelve 80-lb. bags of concrete mix delivered and left on a pallet in my garage. To avoid a back injury at 66, I was able to move the bags to the fence site and mix the concrete to set nine posts without ever lifting a bag. It didn't look very manly, but my back thanked me. <g> If I'm carrying a BIG box up or down stairs, even if it's not too heavy, it's bulky. So I get a big garbage bag, and drag it up or down in that...leaves one hand free for a rail....
