The game change, their "principles" change. I have no doubt that they will be pushing to roll back things like the Patriot Act and the provisions for wiretapping because it places too much power in the presidency. And, by the time they finish, they will sold the idea that the Left was responsible and only they were standing up to protect the Constitution... As harris likes to say, in one of his more amusing attempts at projection, it is all about the ends justifying the means.
