The for the post, Roadwalker. I'm reading in several different articles now that several different solar companies are saying they have reached grid-parity. Others say they'll reach it in 2-3 years.

There will be no doubt that the solar industry has reached or surpassed grid-parity within 2-3 years.

So my question to the thread is that when this happens, how will you justify your opposition to solar energy in lieu of coal?

If the costs are as claimed the plant will be replicated over and over and over. If not - then the claim will simply disappear. I hope it is true.
