I am not going to fight with you today Sarman. Here are some thoughts. LOL, michael are you back to your old ways? 1. Like during the cold war one side may have wrongly viewed the other as paper tiger. Israel has been so mis-ruled by a corrupt PM and back in 2006, a union leader joke as Secy of Defense. Livni and Barak are demonstrating that toughness and competence are now running israel. Conveniently time before an election. 2. Barak especially has proved himself in the past to be a fair man who searched hard for a peace partner whe he was PM. I hope you are joking. 3. Pals may want to deal with this team before they have to face BIBI. Actually during Bibi regime, the Palestinians were prospering. 5. Please answer the question what does hamas really want? Like any occupies and oppressed people, they need their freedom. If you can't see that, I can't help you. Conventional wisdom is that they want this to be a PR victory and a recruitment tool for further rejectionsists and suicide bombers. Folks as different as chris parsons and steve harris seem to agree on this. It is not making any sense. How could anyone be victorious when hundreds if not thousands are being killed. Can you make a case for Hamas goals? Will they ever recognize pre-67 bordered israel???? Who cares about Hamas. It is the Palestinian people that we should care about. Israel is using Hamas as a front to exterminate the Palestinians. Like Hitler in the past used some lame excuse to exterminate the Jews. Come on michael you should have more sense than that.
