I believe Yellowstone has been dormant for 70k years. Its not likely to explode any time soon......but you never know.

No it blows every 500,000 to 800,000 years and it has been about 600,000 years since it last blew. You could ignore it as it may be over 100,000 years away, but it could also be tomorrow. And it will destroy almost the entire country and a large portion of Canada and even Mexico as well.
