Hadn't thought of it but your correct. Both are religions that didn't let facts get in the way of their narrative. Hell Y2K was actually a bit of a problem, GW isn't.

We talk energy independence and we refuse to use our resources such as coal. Until we do preaching energy independence is another big con job.

Remember all the new companies that popped up to address Y2K? Same thing - another opportunity to use this non-issue as a means to make money.

No kidding.

I've been bellyaching about it for months.
The icing on the cake for me was Al Gore and his carbon credits.

The only thing I can say is that these politicians and money wizards really have the pubic pegged---a bunch of dumbos who will believe anything.

I used to have more faith in people, but the prominence of reality TV put a fork in that...<g>
