Hadn't thought of it but your correct. Both are religions that didn't let facts get in the way of their narrative. Hell Y2K was actually a bit of a problem, GW isn't. We talk energy independence and we refuse to use our resources such as coal. Until we do preaching energy independence is another big con job.

...and motivated by green - money that is. Remember all the new companies that popped up to address Y2K? Same thing - another opportunity to use this non-issue as a means to make money.
